Ecuador Mission Trip
June 13-24
Ecuador Fundraiser Luncheon: Sunday, April 24, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Pick up a plate lunch on your way out after worship. The menu will be lasagna, salad, garlic bread and a dessert, and any donation you feel led to give will be gratefully received.
Alpharetta Methodist Students travel to Ecuador every summer to work alongside Jungle Kids for Christ and Antioch School. Students in grades 9-12 who are active in the Student Ministry program may participate. Students will have the opportunity to teach and mentor the students from Antioch academy, perform construction work and help with other duties on the school’s campus. Students will also have time to explore the town of Misahualli. Registration is closed for this year’s trip, but if you are interested in joining the team next year, email Student Ministries Director Lucas Pruett.
High School Discipleship Week
July 22-26
ATTENTION high school students! Come join us at Lake Junaluska for five days where we will grow deeper in our spiritual walk and closer to each other. We’ll practice how we incorporate spiritual rhythms, like Bible reading and prayer, into our everyday life with time for reflection and discussion. Then we’ll spend time together having fun on the lake and all around the property. The scenery is amazing, but the time with each other is even better!
