Interim Preschool Ministry Coordinator

Alpharetta Methodist Church is seeking an Interim Preschool Ministry Coordinator to oversee Sunday morning programming for preschool children ages three and four. The Coordinator is required to be present on Sunday mornings from 8:30am-12:30pm along with 11 flexible office hours to plan lessons and prep supplies during the week. The Coordinator will also help the Kids’ Ministry Staff in equipping and recruiting new volunteers, as well as planning special events throughout the year.

Specific Duties
- Plan an hour-long PreK Sunday School lesson at 10:00am.
- Plan an hour-long PreK Worship for 9:00 & 11:00am.
- Welcome PreK age families and children on Sunday mornings.
- Setup classrooms with lesson plans and supplies for each Sunday.
- Create PowerPoint PreK Worship with Bible Lesson, Worship Songs, and Activities.
- Coordinate & Recruit PreK Volunteers-email weekly reminders and lesson plans.
- Train and work with PreK Worship Leaders.
- Stand in as one of the main teachers for any of the three hours as needed.
- Oversee the safety of children and volunteers on Sundays.
- Cleanup classrooms after programming on Sundays.
