Activities throughout the year bring women together from all ages and stages of life. Their work status differs, some are married and some single, some have children and others don’t, yet they are all bound to each other by a shared yearning to connect with our Lord. Women’s Workshops: Wisdom of the Generations
Thursday, May 9
6-9 p.m.
Connection Café
Join us for a panel discussion with women of various ages and stages in life. The workshops, “Wisdom of the Generations,” will be held twice during 2024. The evening will open with the panel discussion, followed by small-group breakout sessions for more in depth conversation.
The event will feature:
- Refreshments and (optional) social hour
- Panel featuring church members of various ages moderated by Karen Barber
- Breakout groups to dive deeper into specific prayer related topics
- Guided prayer experience
The workshop is free and open to high school and up.
Women’s Walks
4th Saturday of each month*
10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Next walk: April 27
Women of the church meet for a Saturday morning walk through downtown Alpharetta once a month. The walk is a 2-mile loop and includes stops for prayer and devotions. The walks begin and end under the portico at the church’s main entrance off Cumming St. All ladies are invited. No reservations are needed.
Women’s Ministry Breakfast
Saturday, Aug. 31
9-11 a.m.
Connection Café
All ladies are invited to a catered Saturday morning breakfast. Celebrate the beginning of fall, enjoy fellowship with other women in the church, hear from a featured speaker, and leave uplifted and encouraged.
$20 per person. Please register.

Alpharetta Methodist Moms’ Ministry
The goal of Alpharetta Methodist Moms is to create a community for moms where authentic connections can be made through Christ. The group sponsors Bible studies and worship events for women. To learn more email AMmoms@amchurch.com.
Young Moms’ Bible Study
Young moms recently completed a study of the Letters of 1, 2 and 3 John, written to encourage followers of Jesus to remain faithful to the truth.
We’ll publish more studies here as they’re scheduled.
Senior Women: Gourmettes

All ladies over 55 are invited to occasional lunches together in the Alpharetta area. The Gourmettes meet in the Student Center parking lot and take the church bus to a local restaurant.
