Hello Church!

We’re grateful for everyone who has started using the Sunday Guide and taken the next step by checking in since the feature launched a few weeks ago. We’ve received a few recurring questions, so we wanted to take a moment to explain the why behind check-in and share more about how it works.

Q: Why do I need to check-in?

A: We encourage everyone to make the Sunday Guide part of your regular Sunday routine. To make it easy, we’ve placed QR code signs at entrances, in the seats, and throughout the building.

Check-in is essentially a digital way to “sign the attendance pad.” It helps us know who’s in worship so we can better support you in taking your next steps with Jesus. Plus, we have recently introduced a text follow up linking to the Sunday Supplement based on the check-in that many have found beneficial.

Q: Why am I only prompted to check-in sometimes?

A: The system is designed to make check-in as simple as possible. You’ll be prompted to check-in the first time you access the Sunday Guide.

A revised version of the check-in was introduced on 9/7/25 and this version provides explicit acknowledgement of subsequent successful check-ins. There is also new flexibility to manage future alerts. You will still periodically be asked to complete the full check-in process.

Q: Why do some people see their family members when checking in, but others don’t?

A: Since check-in is tied to your phone number, the family members who appear are those connected to that number in our database. If you’d like to review or update your household information in our database, you may do it here.

Thanks once again for engaging in the check-in and helping us stay connected and grow together as a church family.
